Job summary

The Adolphus in Dallas, TX is seeking a dedicated Stewarding team member to maintain clean, organized back-of-house areas and support food preparation as needed. You will ensure sanitized equipment and smooth operation of dishwashing and warewashing processes.

This full-time role offers a supportive team environment, opportunities to contribute to high- pace service, and a range of benefits through Makeready. Candidates should be reliable, detail-oriented, and able to multitask during peak hours.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload dishwashing machines
• Wash specific items by hand (e.g wooden cutting boards, large pots and delicate china)
• Store clean dishes, glasses and equipment accordingly
• Ensure there are enough clean dishes, glasses, and utensils, especially during peak hours
• Check washing machines’ operation and promptly report any technical/performance issues
• Ability to maintain multiple projects and high priority needs as required

This individual is a crucial part of the kitchen. This person knows that a successful culinary experience can only be created with sanitized and well-maintained equipment and facilities. Their primary role is to maintain a clean kitchen, properly organize the restaurant and back of house area, and assists with the preparation of food as need.
