Job summary

The Chatham Inn, part of Noble House Hotels & Resorts, is seeking a dedicated kitchen steward to clean and maintain dishwashing areas and equipment in a luxury boutique hotel on Cape Cod. You will support restaurant operations, follow safety guidelines, and ensure a pristine kitchen environment.

Experience preferred; strong English communication is required. We offer competitive perks and a collaborative team culture at a Forbes Five-Star property in Chatham, MA.

Qualifications

• Experience in a similar position preferred.
• Ability to communicate effectively in English with guests and team members.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Operate dishwashing machines and manually wash dishes, pots, pans, and utensils.
• Ensure all items are thoroughly cleaned and sanitized.
• Maintain cleanliness of the kitchen, including floors, walls, workstations, and equipment.
• Ensure all areas are free from debris and hazards.
• Properly dispose of waste and recyclables.
• Maintain cleanliness in trash disposal areas.
• Adhere to all health and safety regulations, including proper food handling and sanitation practices.
• Safely operate and maintain dishwashing equipment.
• Report any malfunctions or maintenance needs to the supervisor.

Hiring Bonus Available:

$500 paid out in three (3) installments - $200 at 30 days of employment; $150 at 60 days of employment; and $150 at 90 days of employment. Please note: This hiring bonus is subject to all withholdings and deductions as required by law.

A day in the life...

The steward is to clean and maintain equipment and areas such as Dishwashing/ Kitchen/ Cafeteria/ Compactor and Storage according to hotel specifications and standards. Wash pots, pans, and other kitchen utensils and equipment. Assign other cleaning projects as needed.

Key Responsibilities:
