The iconic Old Post Office has been transformed into Waldorf Astoria Washington DC – a prestigious address welcoming all. With 263 rooms, 38,000 sq ft of event space, 2 restaurants, and 3 bars, this venue hosts Washington D.C.'s most significant events, meetings, and experiences.

Shift: Various – availability on weekdays, weekends, and holidays required.

Pay Rate: $32.00 per hour, based on experience and location.

What will I be doing?

As a Steward Supervisor, you will oversee utility stewards, dishwashers, and temporary staff to ensure the cleanliness and transportation of utensils and serviceware, supporting outstanding guest service and profitability. Your responsibilities include:

• Supervising and directing staff, including temporary personnel.
• Ensuring proper setup for all banquet functions during your shift.
• Ensuring timely delivery of food and equipment for all functions.
• Maintaining cleanliness in function areas, ensuring dirty china, glasses, and silverware are promptly returned to the dishwashing area.
• Preparing the setup for the next shift's functions.
• Assisting the Assistant Executive Steward with cleaning restaurant and banquet kitchens.
