Job summary

Royal Sonesta Cambridge is seeking a dedicated Steward to support our culinary team by cleaning and sanitizing pots, pans, and kitchen equipment to uphold high sanitation standards. You will work in a fast-paced hotel kitchen, ensuring guest satisfaction through spotless food preparation areas.

The role involves operating the dish machine, cleaning floors, and assisting with cafeteria service as directed. Competitive base pay plus comprehensive benefits is offered.

What this role is all about

The Steward works with the culinary team to clean and sanitize pots, pans, utensils, the kitchen and other kitchen equipment, in accordance with time, product and placement standards to ensure total guest satisfaction.

What you’ll be doing

• Operate dish machine, clean and sanitize pots and pans, china, glassware, flatware, kitchen equipment, and other utensils.
• Clean and sanitize the kitchen and food preparation areas.
• Sweep and mop all kitchen floors and other assigned areas.
• Collect and empty trash from designated areas into the hotel dumpster.
• Service food for the Employee Cafeteria as specified by the Chef or Kitchen Supervisor.
• Store all clean china, glass, and silver to its proper storage location using care to minimize breakage.
• Adhere to established safety and sanitation guidelines.
• Adhere to uniform and grooming standards.
• Perform other duties or projects as requested by management.

Anticipated Pay Range & Additional Job Information

$24 to $26 Base pay offered may vary depending on various factors including but not limited to job related knowledge, skills and job specific experience/overall experience.
