Job summary

Port Royal Club in Naples, FL seeks a Stewarding Operations Supervisor to lead the cleaning, sanitation, and maintenance of china, glass, silver, and kitchen areas in line with quality standards and safety.

You will organize assignments, assist with training and performance reviews, coordinate banquet setups, and ensure a safe, efficient back-of-house environment while supporting the club's luxury service standard.

Responsibilities

• Assist in overseeing the cleaning and sanitizing of china, glass, and silver using the dishwashing machine; load and unload dishware and flatware.
• Organize work assignments; provide input on training, performance evaluations, and discipline for stewards.
• Assist in cleaning and sanitizing pots, pans, and kitchen utensils with proper solutions.
• Review Banquet event orders; delegate Banquet Setups; review daily change logs.
• Review daily pull sheets; assist in Banquet setups & Commissary.
• Safely set up, clean, polish, and transport silver following a regular schedule; flag damaged pieces for repair.
• Use and store cleaning chemicals safely and with proper protective clothing.
• Adhere to Port Royal Club work rules and standards; work harmoniously with staff.

The Stewarding Operations Supervisor supervises and participates in the cleaning, maintenance, and sanitation of china, glass, silver, kitchen equipment and kitchen production areas in accordance with production requirements and quality standards while maintaining a safe work environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist in overseeing the cleaning and sanitizing of china, glass, and silver using the dishwashing machine; load and unload dishware and flatware from dishwashing machine and store properly.
• Organize work assignments, make recommendations in regard to training, performance evaluations, and discipline for stewards.
• Assist in overseeing the cleaning and sanitizing of all pots, pans, and kitchen utensils using the correct cleaning and rinsing solutions.
• Review Banquet event orders, delegate Banquet Setups, review of daily change logs
• Review daily pull sheets, Assist in Banquet setups & Commissary
• Safely set-up, clean, polish, sort, and transport silver following a regular schedule; place damaged or excessively worn pieces in a designated area for repair.
• Safely utilize and store all cleaning compounds, chemicals, and materials including soaking solution utilizing the correct protective clothing.
• Comply with all ‘Port Royal Club’ Work Rules and Standards of Conduct as set forth
• Work harmoniously and professionally with co-workers and supervisors.

Physical Demands and Work Environment:

• Requires close, color, distance, and peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
