Alyeska Resort in Girdwood, Alaska is seeking a dedicated Steward to keep the kitchen clean and organized while supporting a high-energy culinary team. This role focuses on hygiene, safety, and efficient operation within a scenic resort setting.

As a Steward, you’ll operate dishwashing equipment, help manage supplies, and collaborate with chefs and servers to maintain a smooth flow of service. The position offers year-round or seasonal work with housing options.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a cleaner, dishwasher, or steward preferred.
• Strong focus on hygiene and cleanliness in kitchen or dining areas.
• Detail-oriented with high standards of cleanliness.
• Flexible and able to switch tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Efficient time management and reliability.
• Basic communication with kitchen and serving staff.

Responsibilities

• Operate dishwashing equipment to clean and sanitize dishes and utensils.
• Maintain kitchen cleanliness across countertops, surfaces, and equipment.
• Assist with receiving, storing, and organizing supplies.
• Ensure access and traffic areas are clear; floors mopped as required.
• Follow safety and sanitation policies and report incidents.
