Job summary

The Indigo Road Hospitality Group (IRHG) is seeking a Steward to keep our kitchen and dining areas clean, organized, and running smoothly across our growing hospitality team. You will be responsible for washing, sanitizing, and maintaining dishware while supporting the kitchen’s daily operations.

Applicants should understand safety and sanitation procedures, be a strong team player, and communicate effectively with managers, staff, and guests.

Qualifications

• Understanding and knowledge of safety, sanitation, and food handling procedures.
• Be a positive energy, ready to assist fellow staff and work as a team player.
• Ability to communicate effectively with managers, employees, and guests.
• Flexible schedule to work days, nights, weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Keeps cooking and dining ware clean and sanitized for kitchen and dining areas.
• Supports dish room operations by loading, running, and unloading the dish machine and keeping the area organized.
• Monitors water temperature and reports any issues to ensure sanitary wash cycles.
• Maintains adequate levels of detergents, cleaning supplies, and clean tableware; bags and hauls trash as scheduled.
