Job summary

The Indigo Road Hospitality Group is seeking a Steward in Charlottesville to support kitchen and dining operations. You will ensure all dishware and equipment are cleaned and sanitary, serving as the backbone to keep the kitchen running smoothly.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of safety, sanitation, and food handling procedures.

• Ability to stand/walk for extended periods with occasional bending or lifting.

Responsibilities

• Load, run and unload the dish machine and keep dish room organized.
• Monitor dish machine water temperature and report issues promptly.
• Maintain adequate detergents, cleaning supplies, and clean tableware.
• Bag and haul dish room trash to dumpster at scheduled times.
