Job summary

The Maui Four Seasons resort is seeking a dedicated Steward to maintain cleanliness, sanitation, and safe operation of china, glass, silver and kitchen equipment in line with production standards. You will report to the Stewarding Management Team and support the Food & Beverage operations, following strict hygiene practices and a physical, active schedule.

Full-time hours include evenings, weekends and holidays; Hawaii Food Handler Card is required to apply.

Qualifications

• Must be able to operate and maintain dishwashing equipment and related gear.
• Hawaii Food Handler Card required.
• Ability to work full-time including evenings, weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Clean and sanitize china, glass, and silver using the dishwashing machine; load/unload and store properly.
• Clean and sanitize ovens, kettles, mixers and other kitchen equipment; keep drains, floors, walls clean.
• Clean pots, pans and utensils with correct cleaning solutions.

Steward

Responsible for the cleaning, maintenance, and sanitation of china , glass, silver, kitchen equipment and kitchen production areas in accordance with production requirements and quality standards while maintaining a safe work environment. This role is part of the Food & Beverage , reporting to the Stewarding Management Team . Candidates must have valid authorization to work in the United States at the time of application.

What You Will Do

• Clean and sanitize china , glass, and silver using the dishwashing machine; load and unload dishware and flatware from dishwashing machine and store properly.
• Clean and sanitize all ovens, steam kettles, mixers and other kitchen equipment as well as all kitchen drains, sinks, floors, and walls; clean, dust, seep, mop, polish, scrub, wash, strip, and buff kitchen and pastry shop production areas and hallways.
• Clean and sanitize all pots, pans, and kitchen utensils using the correct cleaning and rinsing solutions.
