Job summary

Hyatt Regency Greenwich is seeking an Assist Stewarding Supervisor to support the cleaning and organization of Food and Beverage Outlets. The role requires physical stamina and the ability to handle heavy ware installation in a high-activity environment.

Responsibilities include dishwashing, ware sorting, silverware finishing, and supporting kitchen staff in maintaining clean stations. Flexible AM/PM/weekend/holiday shifts are required.

Qualifications

• Strong verbal and written communication abilities.
• Ability to push/pull service carts up to 150 lbs with/without assistance.
• Knowledge of service ware and how to maintain it to complement guest experience.

Responsibilities

• Promptly sort soiled ware so it can be run through the dish or pot machine.
• Wash ware quickly and replace in designated storage areas.
• Keep the dish machine clean and filled with water per hotel standards.
• Operate burnishing machine to ensure proper finish on silverware.
• De-tarnish and polish silver for proper appearance.
• Clean kettles, tilt skillets, pots and pans so cooks can work efficiently.
