Job summary

The Little Rock Marriott is seeking a motivated Steward to join our kitchen team in downtown Little Rock. You will wash dishes, utensils and kitchen equipment, keep the area clean, and assist with food prep as needed to support a smooth culinary operation.

As part of Davidson Hospitality Group, you will contribute to high standards of food safety, teamwork, and guest satisfaction in a fast-paced hotel environment. Flexibility for weekends and holidays is required as part of our dynamic schedule.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a Steward or in a similar role preferred.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask.
• Ability to lift 25+ pounds and stand for long periods of time.
• Ability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Support the culinary team by washing dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen and dishwashing area.
• Assist with food preparation and plating as needed.
• Ensure the proper handling and storage of food and supplies.
• Adhere to food safety and sanitation guidelines.
• Collaborate with team members to maintain a smooth workflow.
• Display a positive and energetic attitude while working in a fast-paced environment.
• Demonstrate a commitment to excellence and attention to detail.
