Job summary

Kids for the Future is seeking an Event Steward to lead back-of-house stewarding at The Brook. You will oversee sanitation, inventory, equipment management, and team performance to ensure every event and F&B operation runs smoothly, safely, and efficiently.

Qualifications

  • Stewarding leadership experience preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of sanitation practices and inventory management.
  • Proven leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and lead by example.
  • Flexible availability, including nights, weekends, and events.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and remain active during shifts.

Responsibilities

  • Lead daily stewarding and sanitation operations across all food & beverage areas.
  • Manage inventory, ordering, storage, and cost control of service ware and equipment.
  • Ensure compliance with health, safety, and sanitation standards.
  • Conduct inventories, inspections, and operational walk-throughs.
  • Train, coach, and supervise stewarding team members.
  • Coordinate maintenance needs and support successful event execution.
  • Complete scheduling, payroll, reporting, and other administrative responsibilities.

What You'll Do
