Job Description

Omni PGA Frisco Resort is seeking a service-oriented Steward to join our team. The resort will feature 127,000 sq ft of event space, 13 dining outlets, a luxurious spa, and a vibrant entertainment district, along with two championship golf courses and a third short course, offering exceptional dining, event, and entertainment options for guests and locals alike.

Responsibilities

1. Promptly sort soiled ware for proper cleaning, wash all ware, and store appropriately. Maintain cleanliness of dish machines.
2. De-tarnish and polish silverware for presentation.
3. Clean kitchen equipment such as kettles, skillets, pots, and pans for efficient kitchen operation.
4. Transport and clean utensils and service ware for staff use.
5. Maintain cleanliness of kitchen work areas and equipment.
6. Sweep and mop floors, wash worktables, walls, refrigerators, and meat blocks.
7. Manage trash and garbage disposal, including sanitation of cans.
8. Wash dishes by hand or machine, ensuring proper rotation and storage of clean items.
9. Assist with inventory management and report supply needs.
10. Follow safety guidelines for chemical use and storage.
11. Report equipment issues to supervisors.
12. Assist kitchen staff as needed and participate in departmental meetings and training.
13. Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Strong customer service skills.
• Food Handlers certification or willingness to obtain upon hire.
• Ability to work collaboratively and communicate effectively.
• Excellent safety and sanitation practices.
• Willingness to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays.
• Physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform active duties.
