Job summary

Hyatt Centric Key West Resort and Spa is seeking a dependable Steward/Dishwasher to join our Food & Beverage team in the heart of Old Town Key West. You’ll help maintain a clean, organized kitchen space and support chefs and service staff to deliver exceptional dining experiences.

This full-time role offers opportunities to grow within a hospitality-focused resort, with sanitation standards and teamwork at the core. Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays is preferred.

Qualifications

• Strong work ethic and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced team environment.
• Good communication skills and a positive, team-oriented attitude.
• Previous steward/dishwasher, kitchen, or hospitality experience is preferred but not required.
• Ability to lift, push and stand for extended periods while on your feet.

Responsibilities

• Maintain the cleanliness and organization of kitchen, Food & Beverage, and staff dining areas.
• Wash and properly store all china, glassware, silverware, cookware, and kitchen equipment.
• Keep dishwashing and kitchen work areas clean, sanitized, and organized during each shift.
• Assist with deep cleaning projects and other sanitation tasks as assigned.
• Support the culinary team by ensuring a steady flow of clean equipment during service.
• Follow all food safety and sanitation standards and maintain a safe work environment.

Summary

The Hyatt Centric Key West Resort & Spa is looking for a dependable and hardworking Steward/Dishwasher to join our Food & Beverage team. Located in the heart of Old Town Key West, our resort is just steps from the vibrant energy of Duval Street and home to Four Flamingos, A Richard Blais Key West Kitchen & Blue Mojito Bar.

As a Steward, you'll play a vital role in supporting our culinary and restaurant teams by maintaining a clean, organized, and sanitary kitchen environment. Your work helps ensure our chefs and service teams have everything they need to deliver exceptional dining experiences to our guests.

What You'll Do
