Job summary

The Clare in downtown Chicago is seeking a full-time Steward/Dishwasher. Shifts vary (6:00 AM-2:00 PM, 7:00 AM-3:00 PM, or 8:00 AM-4:00 PM) and scheduling is based on operational need. You will assist with dietary tasks as directed by the Chef and help prepare and arrange food and utensils for dining services.

The shift varies (6:00 AM-2:00 PM, 7:00 AM-3:00 PM, or 8:00 AM-4:00 PM).

This position provides assistance in all dietary functions as directed/instructed by the Chef. The assistant assembles prepared food and utensils on trays on the tray line. They are responsible for set-up and clean-up of the glasses, dishware and silverware used for meal service for all dining rooms. The assistant must maintain all work and work areas appropriately and in compliance with food code sanitation standards and community policies and procedures.

All candidates will be required to pass a criminal background check, drug screen and physical exam.

Hours are based on business needs. AM Hours (6:00 AM-2:00 PM, 7:00 AM-3:00 PM, or 8:00 AM-4:00 PM), weekends and holidays are required.
