Clarendale Six Corners in Chicago is seeking a hospitality-focused Dishwasher to join our culinary team. This role performs full-scope, hands-on serving functions within the community.

Schedule options include full-time 7:30am–2:30pm or part-time shifts 7:30am–2:30pm, 12–8:30pm, or 4–8:30pm, with some weekend hours. Starting wage is $18.50 per hour, with benefits including 401(k) with employer match, health and vision insurance, life insurance, daily pay, free employee parking, discounted meals,

Qualifications

• Sophomore year of high school completed (or higher).
• Experience in food service preferred.
• Experience working with seniors preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintain cleanliness, sanitation, and organization per community standards.
• Ensure food quality, appearance, and presentation.
• Assist with ware-washing, dish washing, and general cleaning duties.
• Help set tables and clear tables; assist staff as needed.
• Represent the community in a warm, inviting manner.

Here are a few of the daily responsibilities of a Dishwasher:

• Always exemplify Community standards of cleanliness, sanitation, and organization.
• Responsible for adhering to food quality, appearance, and presentation standards always.
• Exhibit dining room appearance and presentation standards always.
• Perform kitchen activities including: ware-washing system set-up and break down, dish washing, pot washing, general cleaning duties, storing of food and non-food supplies, and prep production.
• Assist serving staff with setting of tables and work station areas as well as clearing tables. Clean and sanitize production equipment, work surfaces, ware-washing system, and areas in kitchen.
• Knowledge of diets provided and served correctly per Policy and Procedure.
• Represent the community in a warm and inviting manner, which creates a positive marketing environment.
• Supports creating a culture where the business decisions made in this position, along with individual employee engagement, drive top-line revenue and occupancy.
