Job summary

Heritage Hotels & Resorts is seeking a Steward to uphold cleanliness and sanitation across kitchen, dishwashing and back-of-house areas. You will operate dishwashing equipment, manage storage of cleaned items, and support culinary operations with restocking and routine cleaning.

Qualifications

• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, multi-concept environment.

• Flexible availability including days, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Ability to stand, stoop, bend for extended periods and lift up to 40+ pounds.

Responsibilities

• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of kitchen, dishwashing, and back-of-house areas.
• Operate dishwashing equipment to clean dishes, glassware, utensils, and kitchen tools.
• Ensure proper handling, storage, and organization of all cleaned items.
• Support kitchen operations by restocking supplies and assisting with basic cleaning tasks.
• Remove trash, recycling, and compost while maintaining a clean and safe environment.
• Clean floors, drains, walls, and equipment according to sanitation standards.
• Follow all food safety, sanitation, and health department regulations.
• Assist with banquet and event breakdown, including equipment cleaning and storage.
• Maintain positive and professional communication with culinary and service teams.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
