Overview

The Steward is responsible for ensuring all pots, pans, flatware, serving utensils, and other miscellaneous items are clean, sanitized, and stored correctly. The Steward must adhere to all sanitation policies and protocols and be able to adapt to a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Act with integrity, honesty, and knowledge that promote the culture and values of TableOne Hospitality.
• Maintain clean and organized workstations that are consistent with the restaurant’s philosophy, culture, and standards of excellence.
• Operate efficiently within the restaurant daily, demonstrating respect, friendliness, professionalism, teamwork, knowledge, patience, awareness, compassion, courtesy, and initiative.
• Understand all programs, procedures, standards, specifications, guidelines, and training protocols thoroughly.
• Display consistent attention to detail and follow all restaurant policies.
• Thoroughly wash and sanitize all kitchen and restaurant dishes, glassware, utensils, and equipment.
• Proper use and maintenance of equipment.
• Maintain a clean and orderly kitchen area by removing trash and grease, sweeping and mopping floors, and wiping down counters during shifts and before leaving.
• Perform additional duties such as sweeping and mopping floors, maintaining bathrooms, taking out trash, cleaning the exterior of the building, and assisting with food preparation.
