Job summary

Big Cedar Lodge is seeking a Steward to maintain sanitary dishwashing operations and ensure a steady supply of clean tableware. You will follow health, safety, and Ecosure standards while supporting a collaborative kitchen team.

You will perform routine cleaning, proper chemical handling, and training completion, with all duties assigned as needed to support guest satisfaction and smooth kitchen operations.

• Follow proper procedures as disclosed in SOPs.

Responsibilities

• Operates dishwashing equipment to ensure adequate supplies of clean tableware.
• Maintains personal hygiene and sanitation standards as established by Health Department.
• Follows proper food storage, handling and preparation standards.
• Adheres to established Ecosure standards.
• Maintains a clean and safe work environment through regular floor maintenance, trash removal, proper storage of equipment and cleaning of Dish area prior to the end of each shift.
• Handles and uses chemicals needed to clean and sanitize tableware in a safe manner.
• Complete all training requirements.
• ALL OTHER DUTIES AS ASSIGNED.

INDEPENDENT JUDGEMENT

• Performs tasks and duties under direct supervision, using well-defined policies and procedures. Work is reviewed by supervisor. Limited opportunity exists for exercising independent judgment and decision making.
