Job summary

The Lakeside Church seeks a dedicated cleaner to help maintain a welcoming facility in Oakland, FL. The role covers daily cleaning tasks, stocking supplies, and preparing spaces for Sunday Experiences and events.

Ideal candidates are organized, team-minded and able to work independently with a servant’s heart, reflecting the church’s culture and mission.

Qualifications

• Experience in facilities is preferred, but not required.
• Knowledge in Word and Excel.

Responsibilities

• Maintain daily cleanliness and organization of the facility (mopping, sweeping, dusting, trash, vacuuming, windows, bathrooms).
• Stock and organize supplies (toilet paper, trash bags, cleaning supplies).
• Keep facility guest-ready for Sunday Experiences, Events and Conferences.
• Assist with deep cleans as needed.
• Stock items in offices and bathrooms (toilet paper, paper towels).
• Ensure exterior areas of the facility are clean (dumpster area).
• Assist Team Lead with additional duties.

Essential Functions and Responsibilities

• Support the daily cleanliness and organization of the facility by completing tasks including but not limited to mopping, sweeping, dusting, trash collection, vacuuming, window cleaning and bathroom cleaning.
• Help stock and organize items needed such as toilet paper, trash bags, cleaning supplies, etc.
• Help with cleanliness of facility for Sunday Experiences, Events and Conferences and help ensure all areas of the facility are guest ready
• Help with deep cleans when needed.
• Help stock items in areas like offices and bathrooms with toilet paper, paper towels, etc.
• Ensure outside areas of facility are clean such as dumpster area
• Assist Team Lead with any other additional duties.

Experience and Skills Required

• Experience in facilities is preferred, but not required.
• Knowledge in Word and Excel.
