Job summary

New Life Ranch, Inc. is seeking staff to help accomplish the mission by serving guests and creating a clean, comfortable place for them to stay.

You will assist in cleaning buildings, organizing housekeeping spaces, and supporting the Hospitality Manager with supplies and laundry across the camp. Responsibilities include preparing cabins and meeting spaces for retreats, managing Lost and Found, and ensuring motel units are inviting with stocked amenities.

Qualifications

• Must be able to stand for long periods and work on your feet.
• Capability to squat or kneel to clean areas and fixtures.
• Comfort with cleaning duties and basic housekeeping tasks.
• Availability for night or weekend shifts as needed.

Responsibilities

• Assist in cleaning buildings (cabins, meeting spaces, motels, restrooms) in preparation for retreat guests.
• Assist in cleaning and organizing housekeeping closets around camp.
• Assist in managing Lost and Found and coordinate item returns to guests.
• Assist Hospitality Manager with supplies, restocking, and maintaining cleaning caddies.
• Maintain laundry across camp including towels, linens, cleaning rags, etc., and stock closets.
• Empty and replace outdoor trash cans as needed.
• Prepare cabins, motel units, and meeting spaces for retreats.
• Ensure motel units are inviting with well-stocked coffee, dishes, and bedding.
• Assist in projects and respond to housekeeping-related calls during shifts.

About the role:

Staff in this role will assist in cleaning the buildings (cabins, meeting spaces, and motel units) in preparation for retreat guests as well as assisting in managing Lost and Found. We have part-time hours available on weekdays, evenings, and weekends.

• 1. Assist in the cleaning of buildings (cabins, meeting spaces, motels, public restrooms) in preparation for retreat guests.
• 2. Assist in cleaning and organizing all housekeeping closets around camp.
• 3. Assist in managing Lost and Found and coordinate with Hospitality Manager in getting items returned to guests.
• 4. Assist the Hospitality Manager with supplies, including restocking and maintaining cleaning caddies.
• 5. Keeping up with laundry throughout camp including towels, linens, cleaning rags, etc. and making sure that all housekeeping closets are fully stocked.
• 6. Emptying and replacing outdoor trash cans when needed.
• 7. Prepare cabins, motel units, and meeting spaces for retreats.
• 8. Ensure motel units are an inviting and comfortable environment. This includes well stocked coffee supplies, dishes, and bedding.
• 9. Assist in projects and respond to calls related to housekeeping during your shift.

You must be able to:

• 1. Work on your feet for long periods of times.
• 2. Squat or kneel to clean toilets, showers, baseboards, etc.
• 3. Stomach cleaning up bodily fluids. We will be cleaning toilets and showers a lot, and accidents happen.
• 4. On occasion work a night or weekend shift.
