Responsibilities

• Cleans and sanitizes all dishes, pots, pans, flatware, and glassware.
• Maintains cleanliness of the kitchen including storage areas and freezers.
• Empties kitchen trash and disposes of garbage and recycling.
• Performs daily cleaning including shelves, floors, and equipment.
• Stores all dishes and wares in proper areas.
• Incorporates safe work practices.
• Cleans kitchen after close.
• Performs other required duties.

Key Responsibilities of the Steward

• Cleans, sanitizes and properly stocks all dishes, pots, pans, flatware and glassware.
• Maintains cleanliness of entire kitchen including dry storage, walk-in cooler, freezers, sweeping & mopping.
• Empties the kitchen trash receptacles and properly disposes of garbage and recycling.
• Performs daily cleaning to include dry storage, walk-in shelving, steam tables, hoods, floors, tables, equipment and exhaust system.
• Stores all dishes and other wares in proper areas.
• Incorporates safe work practices in job performance.
• Cleans, washes and sanitizes all dishes, cleans kitchen after close.
• Performs other duties as required.

Minimum Qualifications for the Steward

• No prior experience required but will train.

Other Qualifications

• ServSafe certification preferred.
• Regular and Reliable attendance.
• Must work holidays, weekends, mornings, afternoons, and nights.
