Job summary

Beechmont Country Club in Beachwood, OH, is seeking a Full-Time Steward to help maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment. This role offers training for those without experience, making it an excellent opportunity to start a career in the hospitality industry.

The ideal candidate will ensure that all dishes, pots, and kitchen equipment are cleaned and properly stored, while also keeping the kitchen area sanitary. A SERV Safe certification is preferred, but not mandatory.

Qualifications

• No prior experience required but will train.
• SERV Safe certification preferred.
• Regular and reliable attendance.

Responsibilities

• Cleans, sanitizes and properly stocks all dishes, pots, pans, flatware and glassware.
• Maintains cleanliness of entire kitchen including dry storage and walk-in cooler, sweeping & mopping.
• Empties the kitchen trash receptacles and properly disposes of garbage.
• Performs daily cleaning to include dry storage, walk-in shelving, steam tables, hoods and exhaust system.
• Stores all dishes and other wares in proper areas.
• Incorporates safe work practices in job performance.
• Cleans, washes and sanitizes all dishes, cleans kitchen after close.
• Performs other duties as required.
