Job summary

Maggie Valley Club and Resort in Maggie Valley, NC is seeking a Steward to maintain clean, organized kitchens and support the club's hospitality team in delivering outstanding service. You will clean, sanitize and stock dishes, pots, pans, and glassware, while maintaining the cleanliness of the kitchen, dry storage, and walk-in cooler.

No prior experience is required and training is provided; ServSafe certification is preferred, and regular, reliable attendance is essential for smooth

Responsibilities

• Cleans, sanitizes and properly stocks all dishes, pots, pans, flatware and glassware.
• Maintains cleanliness of entire kitchen including dry storage and walk-in cooler, sweeping & mopping.
• Empties the kitchen trash receptacles and properly disposes of garbage.
• Performs daily cleaning to include dry storage, walk-in shelving, steam tables, hoods and exhaust system.
• Stores all dishes and other wares in proper areas.
• Incorporates safe work practices in job performance.
• Cleans, washes and sanitizes all dishes, cleans kitchen after close.
• Performs other duties as required.

Key Responsibilities of the Steward
