Job summary

Omni Hotels in Houston is seeking a diligent Steward to uphold cleanliness and sanitation for the food and beverage division. You will wash, store, and deliver serving ware, cookware, and utensils, ensuring quick turnover during high-volume service.

The role requires standing for long periods, lifting up to 50 lbs, and working a flexible schedule including weekends and holidays. Previous luxury hotel stewarding experience is preferred and Texas Food Handler's certification is required.

Qualifications

• Previous luxury hotel/restaurant experience preferred, high volume.
• Ability and willingness to stand for 8 hours at a time
• Ability and willingness to push pull or lift up to 50 lbs.
• Ability and willingness to bend, stretch, and reach
• Ability to work cohesively as part of a team
• Ability and willingness to work a varied schedule which includes working on weekends and holidays
• Previous hotel experience in stewarding is strongly preferred
• Texas Food Handler's certification required.
• Must be able to work a flexible schedule to include weekends and holidays.

• Complete other tasks as assigned by management.
