Overview

Essential duties include:

1. Handling and washing all glassware, silverware, china, pots, pans, and utensils used by culinary staff.
2. Polishing silver and copper items, including coffeepots, teapots, trays, and water pitchers.
3. Storing items neatly and in designated areas.
4. Emptying garbage cans and disposing of cardboard used by culinary staff.
5. Cleaning trashcans and returning them to proper locations.
6. Cleaning dish machines weekly.
7. Cleaning kitchen equipment as required.
8. Cleaning and polishing the back dock and employee cafeteria.
9. Cleaning floors and mats throughout culinary departments.
10. Burnishing silverware as required.
11. Completing all banquet plate-ups and dish outs for events over 100 people.
12. Disposing of broken glassware and dishes.
13. Ensuring hot boxes are clean, plugged in, and stocked for events.
14. Maintaining cleanliness of walls and ceilings.
15. Ensuring safety stations are stocked.
16. Arriving on time in proper uniform.
17. Sweeping back loading dock area and cleaning sanitation rooms and freight elevator.
