Job summary

Four Seasons Hotel Chicago is seeking a skilled Steward (On Call) to support our culinary team with essential cleaning and sanitation duties. The role requires reliability, physical stamina, and a strong team attitude in a luxury hotel environment.

You will operate the dishwashing area, maintain sanitation standards, and assist with maintaining kitchen equipment and silver programs. This on-call position offers flexibility to cover peak periods and holidays with a focus on guest experiences in a

• Illinois Food Handlers Certificate required
• Previous hospitality experience in a similar role
• Strong command of the English language

• Clean and sanitize china, glass, and silver using a dish machine.
• Maintain the sanitation of all major kitchen equipment, culinary and food and beverage facilities.
• Clean and sanitize all pots, pans, and kitchen utensils.
• Maintain the silver polishing program.
• Handle cleaning supplies and chemicals safely.

About the role

The Four Seasons Hotel Chicago is looking for a talented Steward (On Call) who share s a passion for excellence and who infuse s enthusiasm into everything they do. The Steward reports to the Assistant Executive Steward. W e are looking for an energetic, experienced customer service professional with excellent interpersonal skills, ability to multitask, have a passi on for service and hospitality . Applicants will be a willing team player, and willing to accept assignments on as need basis, in order to promote team work.

What you will do

• Clean and sanitize china , glass, and silver using a dish machine
• Maintain the sanitation of all major kitchen equipment, culinary and food and beverage facilities
• Clean and sanitize all pots, pans, and kitchen utensils
• Maintain the silver polishing program
• Utilize and handle cleaning supplies and chemicals in a safe manner

What you bring

• The person we s eek must be able to lift up to 100 lbs.
• Required to hold a current Illinois Food Handlers Certificate
• Previous experience in a similar environment
• Strong command of the English language
• Requires attention to detail and problem solving skills, as well as a passion for customer service.
• Successful candidates must possess legal work authorization in the United States
