Job summary

Pyramid Global Hospitality is hiring for a dishwashing/utility role at Residence Inn Berkeley in Berkeley, CA. You will wash china, glassware, silverware, pots, pans and related kitchen items for the restaurant and banquet areas, and help keep the dish area clean and organized.

Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds, bend, twist, and stand for the shift. The position offers supervision under the kitchen team and an hourly wage of $20.00.

• Must be able to bend, twist, lift and stand for the shift worked.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for washing all china, glassware, silverware, pots, pans and other items used in the restaurant, kitchen and banquet department.
• Responsible for breakdown of all boxes, emptying trash containers into the dumpster and cleaning all containers.
• Clean walls in the kitchen as appropriate; especially in dish room area. Clean floor mats, sweeps and mop entire kitchen floor daily.
• Ensure the dish machine is operating effectively and reading at the appropriate temperature.
• Assist with unloading and organizing shipments.
• Perform all other duties as deemed necessary by management.
