Job summary

Adecco is hiring a Sterilizer Repair Technician in Cleveland, Ohio to troubleshoot, repair, install, and maintain sterilization and surgical equipment for hospitals and healthcare facilities. You will perform preventive maintenance, complete installations, and travel within the Davenport region, returning home nightly.

The role offers a 60–90% local travel expectation, Monday–Friday hours, and a starting pay of $31.25/hour with a $5,000 sign-on bonus, plus comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• At least one year of experience repairing and maintaining Getinge CASTLE and/or STERIS AMSCO washing, sterilization, or surgical equipment.
• Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills.
• Working knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems.
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
• Computer proficiency, strong communication skills, and the ability to work independently.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain sterilizers, autoclaves, industrial washers, surgical tables, and surgical lights.
• Perform preventive maintenance, installations, and equipment modifications.
• Service equipment from manufacturers including Getinge (CASTLE), STERIS (AMSCO), Consolidated, and Tuttnauer.
• Travel to customer facilities throughout the Davenport region and surrounding territory.
• Document service activities, educate customers, and build strong customer relationships.

Pay Details: $31.25 to $36.06 per hour
