Qualifications

• 1 year of experience
• High School degree or equivalent
• Basic computer skills
• Ability to read and communicate effectively in English
• Sterile Processing certification through an accredited body.
• Preferred: 3+ years of experience

Responsibilities

• Disassembles, cleans, assembles, sterilizes, and stores procedure trays, instruments, equipment and supplies according to prescribed procedures.
• Completes requests to dispense supplies to the Operating Rooms and maintains department supply inventory.
• Provides accurate information and timely updates to patients and customers.
• Addresses questions and concerns promptly, or directs to the appropriate person or resource.
• Performs quality control functions and maintains instrument tracking system.
