Job summary

Montshire Pediatric Dentistry in Sanford, ME is seeking a Sterilization Technician to join our friendly, family-owned practice serving thousands of children across the region. You will manage the sterilization center, follow CDC/OSHA protocols, and support clinical teams to keep the schedule running smoothly.

This role offers a Monday–Friday schedule, competitive hourly pay between $23 and $30, and benefits including PTO, health and dental coverage, and profit sharing.

Qualifications

• Must think ahead to anticipate doctor and patient needs.

Responsibilities

• Manage the sterilization center and ensure infection control per CDC & OSHA requirements.
• Process, package, and prep instruments and materials through sterilization center in a timely manner.
• Maintain logs to ensure compliance and traceability.
• Clean, disinfect and reset treatment rooms between patients to support clinical teams.

We are a family-owned practice serving nearly 30,000 children across New Hampshire, Vermont, Maine, and Massachusetts. The salary range for this position is $23/hr- $30/hr. Final compensation is determined during the selection process and considers experience, education, and internal equity.

Requirements

How You’ll Bring Our Values to Life Each Day:

• Manages the sterilization center: has a thorough understanding of and follows all infection control protocol according to CDC & OSHA laws and guidelines.
• Process, package, and prepare all instruments and materials coming through sterilization center. This process should be timely, not allowing backup of critical instruments and in accordance with proper OSHA protocol.
• Keeping of appropriate logs to maintain compliance.
• Clean, disinfect and reset treatment rooms between patients to support clinical teams and keep schedule running on time.
