Job summary

Village Family Dental in Eastover, NC is seeking a dedicated Sterilization Tech to join our team. This full-time, in-office position offers a daytime schedule with no evenings or weekends, promoting strong work-life balance.

You will support clinicians by sterilizing and organizing instruments, maintaining OSHA-compliant standards, and ensuring instrument readiness across operatories. The role emphasizes teamwork, patient safety, and reliable daily performance.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED equivalent.
• Familiar with dental technology, infection control and dental procedures.
• BLS or CPR Certification.
• Extended periods of standing, sitting, and bending, with repetitive movements.

Responsibilities

• Preparing, cleaning, organizing, and closing the sterilization room and lab for daily functions.
• Follow OSHA standards and manufacturer’s instructions to maintain and sterilize all essential equipment.
• Consult patient schedule to ensure proper availability of required instruments in operatories.
• Maintain laundry including towels, smocks, and all essential uniform items.
• Assist all clinical personnel once deemed ready for additional duties by appropriate parties.

Position Summary

As a sterilization tech, you will play a pivotal role in delivering exceptional care to our patients. You will support our team of providers throughout all stages of patient care. Your duties will include:

• Preparing, cleaning, organizing, and closing the sterilization room and lab for daily functions
• Follow OSHA standards and manufacturer’s instructions to maintain and sterilize all essential equipment.
