Qualifications

• Strong leadership and staff development experience in sterile processing or OR environments.
• Knowledge of sterilization, decontamination, disinfection and aseptic technique.
• Experience with policy development and regulatory compliance (AAMI, CMS, TJC, SGNA).

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement Central Sterilization department policies and procedures.
• Oversee cleaning, decontamination, preparation and sterilization of instruments and endoscopic equipment.
• Provide leadership and development to CS staff; participate in recruitment and orientation.
• Assist with capital asset planning for surgical/procedural areas.
• Monitor budgets and control operating expenses for CS and Endoscopy.
• Lead LEAN process improvements and KPI initiatives in the division.
• Coordinate with Biomedical Engineering, Materials Management and Facilities on maintenance and preventive programs.
