Responsibilities

• Acts as liaison for management to external/internal parties and maintains the manager’s schedule.
• Answers and screens telephone calls, responds to inquiries, routes inquiries to appropriate staff.
• Maintains all types of office equipment (computer, fax, copier, etc.).
• Communicates with other facilities to maintain balanced workflow.
• Prepares shipping documentation for overnight, common carrier, and dedicated truck shipments.
• Maintains laboratory test records and related documentation; enters requests for testing into tracking system.
• Performs test sample receipt and scheduling to the appropriate department.
• Performs routine sterilization batch / load record review.
