Job summary

Sotera Health is seeking a Conveyor Operator to coordinate activities on the conveyor system at our Schaumburg facility. The role involves loading and unloading products, completing paperwork, and recording dosimeter data under the supervision of Shift Supervisors.

Basic math, measurement reading, and English proficiency are essential. Forklift experience is preferred, with safety training and certifications required.

Qualifications

• Must be able to read, write and speak fluent English.
• Must be able to read a tape measure accurately.
• Computer skills are desirable for input and record-keeping.
• Forklift driving experience preferred.
• Ability to perform basic arithmetic and measurements.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate all activities on the conveyor by organizing work orders at load/unload stations.
• Load and unload product; complete required paperwork.
• Record input, dosimeter, and unload information in the computer.
• Follow directions from Shift Supervisor and Operations Manager.
• Perform emergency procedures as required by governing agencies.
