Job summary

QTS, part of the Cretex Medical family, is seeking a Sterilization Co-Op in Bloomington, MN. You will provide hands-on support for sterilization, cleaning, and environmental monitoring while learning validation methods and customer-driven projects.

Ideal candidates are pursuing a biology/microbiology degree, proficient in Microsoft Office, and capable of clear written and verbal communication in a fast-paced team environment.

Qualifications

• Enrolled in a 4-year degree in a technical field, with emphasis in Biology or Microbiology or related experience preferred.
• Microsoft Office proficiency required (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.), with a preference for those skilled in advanced functions (e.g., Visual Basic, ability to set up automations).
• Clear and effective verbal and written communication skills.
• Attention to detail and good organizational skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced team environment.
• Ability to prioritize and multitask.
• Technical writing skills.
• Strong math skills, including knowledge of statistical methods.

Responsibilities

• Provide support for the sterilization and cleaning processing.
• Learn about and help support the environmental monitoring program.
• Learn about sterilization and cleaning experiments.
• Learn more about cleaning and validation processes and procedures.
• Learn more about and support different sterilization methods.
• Support projects within Sterilization and help with various sterilization and cleaning projects.
• Understand customer needs and the core business markets we serve.
• Support and comply with the company Quality System, ISO, and medical device requirements.
