Job summary

QTS, part of the Cretex Medical family, seeks a Sterilization Co-Op in Bloomington, MN, for 2027 (May–Dec). You will provide technical support across sterilization and cleaning processes, assist with environmental monitoring, and learn about validation and sterilization methods.

The role emphasizes strong communication, attention to detail, teamwork, and technical writing as you contribute to projects within Sterilization while aligning with Quality System and ISO requirements.

Qualifications

• Enrolled in a 4-year degree in biology, microbiology, or related technical field.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office with automation skills preferred.

Sterilization Co-Op Ideal Candidate Profile

If you are a motivated, energetic, and creative person interested in pursuing a career in Biology or Microbiology within medical device, QTS wants you as our Sterilization Co-Op student! This position will provide technical support focusing on Sterilization, Quality and Engineering projects. You will be assisting the Sterilization department with projects from scope definition through implementation. This position will be located on-site in Bloomington, MN, 40 hours a week from the end of May 2027 - December 2027.

Sterilization Co-Op Job Summary

Qualifications

Sterilization Co-Op Skills and Experience

• Enrolled in a 4-year degree in a technical field, with an emphasis in Biology or Microbiology or related experience preferred
• Microsoft Office proficiency required (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.), with a preference for those skilled in advanced functions (e.g., Visual Basic, ability to set up automations, etc.).
• Clear and effective verbal and written communication skills.
• Attention to detail and good organizational skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced team environment.
• Ability to prioritize and multitask.
• Technical writing skills.
• Strong math skills, including knowledge of statistical methods.

Pay Range

USD $25.00 - USD $25.00 /Hr.

Pay Range Details

This pay range reflects the base hourly rate or annual salary for positions within this job grade, based on our market-based pay structures. Actual compensation will depend on factors such as skills, relevant experience, education, internal equity, business needs, and local market conditions. While the full hiring range is shared for transparency, offers are rarely made at the minimum or maximum of the range.
