Job summary

QTS, part of the Cretex Medical family, invites an Engineering Co-Op student to join the Bloomington, MN team from late May 2027 through December 2027. You will balance engineering, manufacturing, sales and quality needs while supporting process improvements and internal technical support.

You will use CAD and ERP systems, communicate effectively, and grow through exposure to ISO and medical device requirements in a collaborative environment.

Qualifications

• Enrollment in a four-year degree program for Packaging, Manufacturing, Mechanical, or Industrial Engineering.
• Ability to use Microsoft Office (Word/Excel/PowerPoint) and ERP and other business-related systems.
• Ability to work with CAD and design software.

Engineering Co-Op Ideal Candidate Profile

If you are a motivated, energetic, and creative person looking to start a career in Engineering, QTS wants you as our Engineering Co-Op student. This position works under immediate supervision of the Engineering Manager to balance the requirements of Engineering, Manufacturing, Sales, and Quality in a cost-effective and time conscious manner. The intern will assist the Engineering department with projects from scope definition through implementation. This co-op would be located in Bloomington, MN and would run from end of May 2027 to December 2027.

Engineering Co-Op Job Summary

Qualifications

Engineering Co-Op Skills and Experience

• Enrollment in a four-year degree program for Packaging, Manufacturing, Mechanical, or Industrial Engineering

• Solid mechanical aptitude and experience with simple electro-mechanical systems
• Have strong verbal and written communication skills
• Demonstrate excellent interpersonal and team building skills to create effective working relationships with suppliers, and coworkers

• Strong problem-solving skills

Pay Range

USD $25.00 - USD $25.00 /Hr.

Pay Range Details

This pay range reflects the base hourly rate or annual salary for positions within this job grade, based on our market-based pay structures. Actual compensation will depend on factors such as skills, relevant experience, education, internal equity, business needs, and local market conditions. While the full hiring range is shared for transparency, offers are rarely made at the minimum or maximum of the range.
