BluePearl Pet Hospital in Monterey, CA is seeking a dedicated Sterile Supply Assistant to join our Surgery team. This role focuses on maintaining high‑quality instruments and supporting patient care through sterile preparation.

As part of a fast-paced, team‑oriented veterinary environment, you will prepare instruments and the operating room for surgery, decontaminate spaces, and ensure supplies are stocked.

Qualifications

• Experience maintaining high-quality instruments and patient care in sterile preparation.
• Ability to organize and manage sterile supply and operating room readiness.
• Attention to detail and teamwork in a fast-paced surgical environment.

Responsibilities

• Prepare instruments and operating room for surgery.
• Troubleshooting and removing faulty equipment from service to submit for repair or replacement.
• Maintaining appropriate quantities of surgical supplies and equipment.
• Decontaminating and cleaning operating rooms, sterile supply room, and equipment according to established procedures.
• Cleaning and sterilizing instruments and wrapping packs.
• Serving as a resource/reference to surgical team with regards to surgical equipment.

BluePearl Pet Hospital is seeking a dedicated Sterile Supply Assistant to join our Surgery team in Monterey, California!

Pay: $21 - $25 / hour

Schedule: Monday-Friday 8am-6:30pm

We are seeking a Sterile Supply Assistant with a self-motivated, positive attitude to add to our surgical team. This person should be organized and focused on maintaining high-quality instruments and patient care through sterile preparation.

As a Sterile Supply Assistant, you will:

• Prepare instruments and operating room for surgery.

• Troubleshooting and removing faulty equipment from service to submit for repair or replacement.

• Maintaining appropriate quantities of surgical supplies and equipment.

• Decontaminating and cleaning operating rooms, sterile supply room, and equipment according to established procedures.

• Cleaning and sterilizing instruments and wrapping packs

• Serving as a resource/reference to surgical team with regards to surgical equipment.
