Streck in Nebraska is seeking a Sterile Services Assistant I to support laboratory operations by ensuring labware and equipment are cleaned, sterilized and maintained for research and manufacturing use.

This role requires following strict quality, safety, and sterile standards while maintaining accurate daily logs and documentation within a climate-controlled lab environment.

Qualificações

• Dependable, detail-oriented and organized
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions
• Good communication skills
• Dishwashing or lab experience a plus

Responsabilidades

• Clean, rinse, wash, inspect, and prepare labware for sterilization
• Load and unload autoclaves and verify sterilization cycles

About the Role

The Sterile Services Assistant I supports laboratory operations by ensuring labware and equipment are cleaned, sterilized, and maintained for research and manufacturing use. This role follows strict quality, safety, and sterile standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Clean, rinse, wash, inspect, and prepare laboratory glassware and labware for sterilization
• Load and unload autoclaves and verify proper sterilization cycles
• Maintain accurate daily logs and documentation
• Clean and disinfect laboratory equipment, carts, and work areas
• Follow aseptic and clean room procedures
• Comply with safety, ISO, and FDA quality standards

Qualifications

• Dependable, detail-oriented, and well organized
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions
• Good communication skills
• Dishwashing or laboratory experience a plus

Work Environment & Physical Requirements

• Climate-controlled laboratory setting
• Must wear required safety and clean room attire
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 55 lbs occasionally
