Streck LLC is seeking a Building Engineer 1 to maintain and troubleshoot our Nebraska facility, equipment, and grounds. You will work with the Facilities Manager to keep manufacturing systems running safely and reliably, from PLC-controlled processes to HVAC and building automation.
The ideal candidate has a high school diploma or equivalent and 2–3 years in manufacturing maintenance, with exposure to PLCs, electrical systems, BAS, and strong communication skills.

About the Role
As a Building Engineer 1, you'll help keep our facility, equipment, and grounds running safely and reliably. You'll work alongside the Facilities Manager to maintain the physical plant, production equipment, and building systems that our manufacturing and lab teams depend on every day. This is a hands-on role for someone who likes variety — one day you might be troubleshooting a PLC-controlled system, the next repairing HVAC components or assisting with a new equipment installation.

Work Environment
This role includes both indoor and outdoor work, exposure to varying weather and occasional cold temperatures, and proximity to moving mechanical parts, electrical current, and elevated work areas. Reasonable accommodations are available to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions of the role. Physical demands include exerting up to 50 lbs of force occasionally and up to 20 lbs frequently, along with standing, walking, lifting, and reaching throughout the shift.
