Responsibilities

• Prepares non-hazardous sterile product preparations (e.g. IV medications) following SOPs.
• Prepares hazardous sterile product preparations (e.g. chemotherapy) using PPE and SOPs.
• Uses IV room equipment to prepare compounds in a sterile environment.
• Assists with cleaning of IV rooms and anterooms as assigned.
• Records environmental monitoring of IV workspace as assigned.
• Restocks IV rooms to meet USP standards and expectations.
• Maintains skill and competency by completing required education modules and testing.
