Job summary
Connecticut Children’s Medical Center in Hartford, CT, is seeking a Pharmacy Technician Hazardous Sterile Compounding to support pharmacists in preparing, dispensing and distributing sterile and non-sterile drug products. You will work under a licensed pharmacist to ensure compliance with SOPs and USP guidelines and maintain accurate records.

Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Minimum 2 years as Pharmacy Technician with 6 months non-sterile, 1 year nonhazardous sterile, and 6 months hazardous sterile experience.
- Associate/Bachelor’s in Healthcare and CSPT certification preferred.
Responsibilities
- Hazardous and non-Hazardous Sterile Compounding under supervision per SOPs/USP guidelines.
- Prepare pharmaceuticals: hazardous/non-hazardous, controlled/non-controlled, sterile/non-sterile.
- Maintain accurate records per documentation guidelines.
- Document work in EPIC, DoseEdge, Omnicell and other systems.
- Distribute CSPs and non-sterile products to designated areas.
- Maintain inventory and assist with receiving medication orders.
