Job summary

Azkrmc is looking for a Central Sterile Technician to efficiently manage supplies for surgery and other areas. This role needs effective communication skills, the ability to work autonomously, and BLS certification. Candidates should have a high school diploma or equivalent; prior experience in Central Sterile or as a Surgical Technologist is preferred.

The position includes responsibilities such as cleaning, sterilizing, and preparing medical supplies as well as maintaining cleanliness and records in the department.

Qualifications

• Ability to communicate effectively with others.
• Ability to work without direct supervision.
• Able to follow verbal and written instructions.
• Central Sterile or Surgical Technologist experience desirable.

Responsibilities

• Receives and processes incoming supplies and equipment.
• Performs cleaning and sterilizing duties.
• Prepares packs of supplies, linens, and instruments for Central Sterile.
• Issues and distributes supplies and equipment as needed.
