Job summary

North Carolina Specialty Hospital in Durham, NC is seeking a Sterile Processing Technician for a full-time, on-site role. Under supervision of the Sterile Processing supervisor and OR Director, you will ensure proper care and maintenance of all surgical instrumentation, equipment, and sterilization processes.

The ideal candidate has a high school diploma or GED, English proficiency, and ideally Sterile Processing certification with at least one year of experience.

Qualifications

• High School graduate or GED required.
• Ability to communicate and understand English (verbal and written).
• Sterile Processing certification preferred.
• Minimum 1 year Sterile Processing experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and care for all surgical instrumentation and equipment.
• Oversee sterilization processes and aseptic techniques.
• Communicate equipment needs to OR staff and monitor schedules.
