The role supports infection control and patient safety across the OR, ED, delivery suites and inpatient units. Responsibilities include quality checks for cleanliness and function, high level disinfection, wrapping and packaging for sterilization, and preparing case carts for the Operating

The Sterile Processing Technician retrieves, decontaminates, cleans, assembles, processes, sterilizes, stores and distributes medical devices, equipment, procedure trays and supplies used in the care of patients.
High School diploma or equivalent required. SPD certification is required within 18 months of hire.
On-the-job training with 8 weeks minimum concentrated orientation period.
