Job summary

Providence Regional Medical Center Everett is seeking a dedicated Central Sterile Processing Technician to join our clinical support team.

You will prepare, sterilize, and inspect instruments and supplies in a fast-paced hospital setting, with opportunities for certification and professional growth within Providence.

Qualifications

• 1 year of sterile processing tech experience in a hospital setting.
• Within 1 year of hire: National Certified Registered Central Service Technician OR National Certified Sterile Processing and Distribution Technician.
• Completion of Central Services Technician or Surgery Technologist training program or similar Central Services, Surgery or patient care work.

Responsibilities

• Prepares, packages and sterilizes reusable medical supplies and linens.
• Collects, cleans, disinfects, inspects and sterilizes surgical instruments and other medical equipment.

Prepares, packages and sterilizes all reusable medical supplies and linens used by Providence Health System, Everett. Collects, cleans, disinfects, inspects and sterilizes surgical instruments and other medical equipment.

Required Qualifications

• Within 1 year of hire: National Certified Registered Central Service Technician - Healthcare Sterile Processing Association Or
• Within 1 year of hire: National Certified Sterile Processing and Distribution Technician - Certification Board for Sterile Processing and Distribution
• Completion of Central Services Technician or Surgery Technologist training program or similar Central Services, Surgery or patient care work.
• 1 year Prior Sterile Processing Tech experience in a hospital setting.
