Job summary

Prepares and coordinates the distribution of patient information to nursing units and ancillary departments. Adheres to all compliance and regulatory requirements. Collects patient co-payments, pre-payments and payments due. Works side by side with the clinical team in the emergency room setting.

Required Qualifications:

• 1 year of Customer Service or healthcare registration

Preferred Qualifications:

• Upon hire: Certified Healthcare Access Associate (CHAA) or Certified Revenue Cycle Specialist (CRCS)


• Registrar and third-party payor experience


• Hospital patient access or billing, medical office receptionist, insurance office experience


• Working knowledge of office equipment; printers and fax machines


• Proficiency in MS Office


• Data Entry
