Job summary

Creekwood Surgery Center is hiring a Sterile Processing Technician SPD. We maintain and care for all surgical instruments and prepare supplies for surgery cases. Welcome to Creekwood Surgery Center; we offer excellent hours with No Weekends and No Call.

The Sterile Processing Tech SPD keeps instruments sterile, operates all sterilizers, and supports OR readiness by organizing supplies and equipment. Qualifications: HS diploma; 1–2 years sterile processing; certification preferred.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent.
• 1-2 years of Sterile Processing experience.
• Completion of a Sterile Process Certification program preferred.
• Experience with all types of sterilizers.
• Knowledge of operating room instrumentation and procedures.
• Familiarity with medical terminology and departmental supply items.
• Ability to quickly adapt to changing conditions of the patient when needed.
