Job summary

Cypress Endoscopy Center in Houston is seeking a Sterile Processing Technician to maintain and care for all surgical instruments and prep supplies for surgery cases. The role ensures sterile technique and readiness of instruments for every procedure.

The ideal candidate has 1–2 years of Sterile Processing experience, a high school diploma, and relevant certifications (CBSPD or IACHSMM preferred/required). Training includes knowledge of sterilizers and OR instrumentation.

Qualifications

• Completion of a Sterile Process Certification program preferred

Qualifications

• Knowledge of operating room instrumentation and procedures
• Familiarity with medical terminology and departmental supply items
• Ability to quickly adapt to changing conditions of the patient when needed
